An extremely compact, rotational actuator with multi-turn possibilities. The actuator is powered by 24VDC and communicates with the control system via RS-485 Modbus. A number of actuators can be installed in a daisy chain enabling a simple hookup of multiple units. The actuator was certified for use in ATEX category 3 / Ex zone 2.

A passive pressure and temperature sensor for installation in the B-annulus of oil and gas wells. The BAMSE system consists of a passive unit installed in the B-annulus, and an active unit installed on the tubing in A-annulus. The X-mas tree mounted electronics unit uses the A-annulus mounted unit to read the B-annulus mounted device.

A novel pump driver and controller was developed for a subsea multi purpose pump (PG-MAPS). Two permanent magnet motors (each 180kW) with rotational to linear converters and safety features, as well as the controller unit and software for the reciprocating action was developed by Techni.

Techni has developed a sensor system for data gathering for the Force Technology’s Riser Management System. The system was conceptualized, prototyped,tested and built with certification of compliance.

Techni AS has designed and delivered ROG (Rotating Override Gear) to Aker Solutions, which is now in operation at the Visund field. The gears transform rotary movement into linear movement and make it possible to override the open/close mechanism manually on the 2" actuators. The main function of the gears is to act as a manual override interface for ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles).

A subsea linear position sensor for use down to 3000m. The basic sensor detects a linear displacement of 12mm, and is used on FMC’s TTRD project to verify the locking pins on the valves. The sensor is powered from 24VDC, and communicates to the control system via RS-485 Modbus.

A test unit to enable testing of the different sensors developed for FMC’s TTRD system. The test unit incorporates connectors and cabling, as well as user manuals and SW for the test unit.
