Since the start in 1996, offshore has been the main market for Techni AS. Basic Consultant activities along with outsourcing competence has led to the production of an own product line and an in house product development capability. With over a decade of experience has led Techni on to the path of delivering advanced subsea solutions designed to house electronics and mechanical applications with a lifetime up to 25 years.

During the 2008 ONS conference in Stavanger, Norway Techni was nominated for the Innovation award for the B-Annulus Monitoring System known as BAMSE. The product monitors the temperature and pressure in the B-annulus area of the well giving a real-time feedback to the topside operator. The innovation aspect lies in how it is done without any wall penetration and without any moving parts leading to an extended lifetime matching the lifetime of the well itself.

Decommissioning is a growing industry and increasing diver safety demands has led to improved ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle). Techni has already a solid foothold by delivering cutting edge solutions for ROV tools and interface.

For the 2” subsea actuators Techni has developed and delivered several Rotary Override Gears. The gears are a part of the ROV interface making it possible to manually override the X-mas tree actuators.
During the companies short history Techni has developed several products which is owned and used by several market leaders like Aker Kvæner, Kongsberg Maritime and StatoilHydro.
