TECHNI has developed a HT electric motor. The new motor may be a central part of many tools and processes in future high temperatures oil wells.

The product, called the HT2 is based on Techni` high temperature technology developed over several years with the company in Borre, Horten.

The technology is tested for long term operation under conditions where temperatures exceed 300°C. The engine has the potential to operate short runs at the time at this temperature. After a recovery the motor is capable of new runs.

TECHNI invite those interested in well technology and permanent magnet motor technology to stand No. M1146 at ONS in Stavanger August 24 to 27, 2010.
Techni was nominated for the ONS Innovation Award in 2008.
