Kongsberg Simrad

Kongsberg Simrad wanted a complete re-design of the cable drum for their hydro acoustic communication system. Techni was contracted to redesign the product, a task which involved industrial design and engineering.

The result was a more user friendly, aesthetic and lighter product. Several aspects like: durability, weight, colour, recognition and production were put into account during the design process and Techni has today its own in house production line for these units.
