With the experience from several hundred projects working for a vast range of different customers Techni has gained a solid foundation in being able to meet new challenges. Techni take on projects spanning from advanced analysis of mechanical constructions to complete product development with large scale production. In addition there are three main areas within Techni’s work methodology.

The first area builds on combining solutions between the different industry areas in order to achieve a smart and cost effective solution. As an example one can see how products within the Health Care industry and the Oil & Gas industry have similar demands for quality assurance and reliability. Another example is how products within the Defence industry and Oil & Gas industry have similar demands for ruggedness.

Second, Techni utilizes its staff in a dynamic fashion. After the initial contact with the customer a team is established. The team itself varies depending on the project, but as an example of a standard project containing aspects of mechanic and electronics design the team will contain the following: A project manager which handles the administrative tasks; an Electronics Engineer which handles layout of Hardware and Software design and a Mechanics Engineer who does the mechanical construction of the product. The user interface, aesthetics and ergonomics are handled by an industrial designer.
Making sure that the products are producible is done by a toolmaker in coherence with the engineers.

Third, Techni use a set stage gate work methodology keeping our customers deeply involved in the development process. Using a set work methodology as a template ensures that the right decisions are made and all requirements are met.
