PG Pump Solutions (PG) og Techni AS ble i dag tildelt den høyt-hengende prisen: "Spotlight on new Technology" for 2011. Prisen deles ut under den årlige internasjonale olje og gass konferansen OTC (Offshore Technology Conference) i Houston , 2.-5. Mai.

Through Techni's subsidiary TIP (Techni Industrial Production), we have now delivered multiple series of the new TEE ultrasound probe cleaning station to GE Healthcare. This is the first in a series of products which have been developed from preliminary design specification through to industrial production. It is a great example of our company philosopy of delivering a service for "Total Product Development".

Techni's ongoing project in co-operation with PG Marine Group is discussed in the latest issue of Finansavisen, a Norwegian financial publication. Techni is a partner in the project, to develop an electrical drive unit, which will be used as a actuator in subsea pump equipment. The drive unit is an electromagentic motor which via a roller screw converts rotational force into linear force.

After the sucessful deployment of the Techni designed ROG's, on the Visund Oilfield off the Norwegian west coast , Aker Solutions has placed another order for delivery of Rotating Overide Gears. The Gears transform rotary movement into linear movement and makes it possible to override the open/close mechanism manually on the 2” actuators.

The Quality Management System, QMS, in Techni As has been recertified according to ISO 9001:2008. This means Techni deliver services and products manfactured with a high level of quality. The sertificate is valid to 2012-03-23. The text at the certificate says we are qualified according to ISO 9001:2008 within these fields:
Technological development, industrial design, software and manufacturing of electric and mechanical products. Development - Industrial design - Production

Techni AS has now completed the delivery of the first set of 15 ROG’s (Rotary Override Gears) to Aker Solutions which are now in operation at the Visund field. The Gears transform rotary movement into linear movement and makes it possible to override the open/close mechanism manually on the 2” actuators.

Norwegian government chooses F35 JSF |

Techni is proud to be one of the few Norwegian companies which has been involved in the start phase of the development project and has since 2003 developed components for the F35 JSF. The product is an all axis vibration isolated rack mount for advanced electronics. The project is contracted by a sub-supplier who delivers the hydraulics control system for the Fighter Jet to Lockheed Martin.

First delivery of ROG's to the Visund oil field |

Only 15 months after the start date, Techni has now delivered the first ROG’s (rotating Override Gear) to Aker solutions. The ROG’s are mounted at the end of the 2” Actuators on the first 3 sets of XMT’s (X-mas tree).
The main function of the gears is to act as a manual override interface for ROV’s (Remotely Operated Vehicles). |
