We have for many years now developed products in direct relation to the consumer market. The majority of the projects within the consumer segment have been in collaboration with companies with a special need for a company capable of delivering a complete product development service. Techni has a good reputation when it comes to being a sturdy and safe partner which can take a concept through development and all the way to production. Our customers can quite simply deliver an idea in one end and pick up a finished product in the other.

As a founding element, Techni has the ability to combine solutions from different areas within the company. As an example one can look at how different products share the same demands for functionality and quality. Our unique work environment allows our staff to share knowledge and experience with each other in order to meet the customer demands. After the initial contact with the customer we put together a tailor made team designed to accomplish the development process with success. The team itself varies depending on the project, but as an example a standard project containing aspects of mechanic and electronics design the team will contain the following: A project manager which handles the administrative tasks; an Electronics Engineer which handles layout of Hardware and Software design and a Mechanics Engineer who does the mechanical construction of the product. The user interface, aesthetics and ergonomics are handled by an Industrial Designer. Making sure that the products are producible is done by a Toolmaker in coherence with the Engineers.



Prototypes, low to medium sized production and assembly are some of the in house capability we offer within our complete product development service. In addition Techni has the ability to take on large scale production using our own production factories based in China where our employees will stand for the first faze QA of the production lot before being shipped back to Norway
